The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) made available today (4) the IBGE Schedule for the week of May 4 to 8. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been released every Monday at 9 am and includes the schedule for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on the IBGE Schedule channel.

Presidency

On Monday (4), at 3 pm, members of the Presidency will attend the launch of publications “IBGE around the World” and “Brazil in Figures.”

On Tuesday (5), at 2 pm, a team from the Presidency will participate in the ordinary meeting of the National Census of Population Experiencing Homelessness.

On Thursday (7), at 2 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting of technical alignment for the 12th Census of Agriculture.

 On Friday (8), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in the Committee for General Planning and organization of the Censuses – CPO.

Directorates and Advisories 

On Monday (4), at 1 pm, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will attend the launch of the 2026 Schedule of the Business Council for Creative Industry of Firjan.

On tuesday (5), at 1 pm, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a seminar with results of the dissertation "Our name is not Xena: determiners, obstacles and limits for the inclusion of women with disabilities in the labor market,” at ENCE.

On Thursday (7), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) will release the Monthly Survey of Industry: Physical Production - Brazil.

On Friday (8), at 10 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Income from all sources 2025.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (4), at 3 pm, members of the State Superintendency in the Federal District (SES) will participate in the lauch, at Itamaraty Palace, of the international publications "Brazil in Figures - 2025" and "IBGE around the World."

On Tuesday (5), all day long, a team from the State Superintendency in Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will participate in the onsite training for the 2nd pilot test of the Census of Agriculture at the Superintendency.

On Wednesday (6), at 2 pm, representatives of the State Superintendency in Rio de Janeiro (SES/RJ) carry out supervision of price survey activities.

On Thursday (7), all day long, members of the State Superintendency in Ceará (SES/CE) will conduct structural economic surveys in several municipalities.

On Friday (8), at 4 pm, a team from the State Superintendency in Santa Catarina (SES/SC) will participate in a meeting to plan and monitor the data collection for the Continuous National Household Sample Survey.
