Another edition of the Federal Government's Federative Caravan will take place at the end of this month, and the chosen state is Alagoas. On February 26th and 27th, services from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will be available at the Ruth Cardoso Cultural and Exhibition Center, located in the capital, Maceió.
The Federative Caravans project aims to bring the government closer to society, bringing together the services of federal public agencies together in one place. Each edition is offered in a different state, where services, information, and technical support are provided directly to the population and local managers.
“Receiving the caravan reinforces the importance of integrated work between the federative entities and highlights the role of the IBGE as a reliable and secure source of information for the country. In a scenario of high data circulation, it is fundamental that managers and the population have access to quality official statistics,” said Alcides Tenorio Junior, superintendent of the IBGE in Alagoas.
During the Alagoas Federative Caravan, the Institute will have its own stand to directly assist public managers and the general public. The team includes experienced staff to guide visitors on how to access IBGE databases, surveys and services. The stand will also feature a totem and distribute kits with institutional gifts to registered visitors.
