IBGE releases weekly Schedule with activities from December 8 to 12

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (December 8th) released the IBGE Schedule for the week of December 8 to 12. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments of several areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Offices, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been published every Monday at 9 am, and includes the calendar for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the all the activities on the IBGE Schedule information channel.
Presidency
On Monday (December 8th), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in a management meeting of the General Division of Census Operations.
On Tuesday (9), at 8 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the observation of the first Pilot Test of the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture, in Nova Friburgo (RJ).
On Wednesday (10), at 9 am, the Presidency team will participate in the 50th anniversary ceremony of the IBGE Ecological Reserve – RECOR.
On Thursday (11), at 9 am, members of the Presidency will participate in the management committee - Reference Centers in Censuses with Digital Data Collection in Africa.
On Friday (12), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the Ipeatra 2025 Congress, of the Institute for Research and Advanced Studies of the Judiciary and the Labor Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (8), during the whole day, members of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participate in the first pilot test of the Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture.
On Tuesday (9), at 10 am, the Social Communication Division (CCS) team releases the Monthly Survey of Industry: Physical Production - Regional Production.
On Wednesday (10), during the whole day, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participate in a workshop to align the Environmental Economic Accounts.
On Thursday (11), during the whole day, members of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participate in the NUPAA Meeting.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (8), during the whole day, the team from the State Superintendency of Espírito Santo (SES/ES) collects surveys through the state's agencies.
On Tuesday (9), during the whole day, representatives from the Mato Grosso do Sul State Superintendency (SES/MS) will participate in the book conference at the superintendency's bookstore.
On Wednesday (10), at 9 am, members of the Federal District State Superintendency (SES/DF) will participate in the 50th anniversary of the IBGE Ecological Reserve.
On Thursday (11), during the whole day, representatives from the São Paulo State Superintendency (SES/SP) will update the National Address File for Statistical Purposes in several municipalities.
On Friday (12), at 8 am, the team from the Pará State Superintendency (SES/PA) will conduct Territorial Base management training for the heads of IBGE agencies in the state.
