The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (4) the IBGE Schedule for the week of August 4-8. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
For one year, the IBGE weekly schedule is released every Monday at 9 am and includes the schedule for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On August 4-7, representatives of the Presidency carry out the Adaptation Climate Plan Meeting.
On Tuesday (5), in the afternoon, the Presidency participates in the Meeting of the Working Group in Environmental Statistics. And on Friday (4), a Presidency´s team will be present at the Meeting of the Training Working Group of the 12th Agricultural, Forest and Aquaculture Census.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (4), the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) meets to discuss land use and cover with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. On Tuesday (5), a DPE team meets with the working group “CEA/CEPAL Agricultural Statistics” to evaluate a new WG proposal to 2026-2027.
The Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) holds, on Tuesday (5), the meeting on typology for the National Plan for Regional Development (PNDR III) - Ministry of Integration and Regional Development (MIDRIBGE).
State Superintendencies
On Monday (4), the Superintendence of Mato Grosso do Sul (SES-MS) conducts the data collection branches of SES-MS.
