ENCE/IBGE, UFRJ and UFF organize online event to celebrate Statistician Day

ENCE/IBGE, UFRJ and UFF wil get together to celebrate the Statistician Day with an online event on June 02 - 04. Free registration is open. The program encompasses different segments of Statistics in a meeting about knowledge, tools and applications that reflect the contemporary work of professionals in this field.
There will be lectures and research presentations throughout the three days of the event, which will have as guests renowned figures of Brazilian statistics, such as Pedro Alberto Morettin (IME-USP) and Dani Gamerman (IM-UFRJ). Also scheduled in a mini workshop on Markdown, an essential tool for reproductible scientific communication and a panel with young researchers from IM-UFRJ, presenting different research lines and approaches in current statistics.
