The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (31) the schedule for the week of March 31 to April 4. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments from several IBGE areas, from the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Presidency

On Monday (31), at 2 pm, a team from the Presidency will participate in a meeting of the  Assessment Committee for Budgetary and Financial Execution (CAEOF).

On Tuesday (1), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting of the Technical Committee for the 12th Census of Agriculture. At 10 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in a meeting with coordinators of Social Sustainable Development Goals (Social SDG). And, at 2 pm, a team from the Presidency will meet with coordinators of Economic SDG.

On Wednesday (2), at 9 am, members of the Presidency will meet with coordinators of Environmental SDGs. At 10 am, a team from the Presidency will attend a meeting for the  (CNEFE).

On Thursday (3), at 2 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting with the General Division of Census Operations about the Schedule of the Censuses. At 3:30 pm, members of the Presidency will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Health.  

On Friday (4), at 1:30 pm, a team from the presidency will give a course about Sustainable Development Indicators for the Botanic Garden of Rio de Janeiro (JBRJ). At 3 pm, another team will be attending an online meeting with representatives of the Rector’s office of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).

Directorates and Advisories 

On Monday (31), at 9 am, professors of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in a meeting with the coordination of the Center for Institutional Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence Aimed at public Policies (CIAP/IAPP) and with representatives of the e com representatives do Studies Program of Public Policies (NEPP). At 10 am, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the 1st meeting for review of the List of Industrial Products and Services (PRODLIST-Industry) 2025. At the same time, professor of ENCE will be attending the event “Demography Week at UNICAMP," at the campus of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp).

Also on Monday, at 4:30 pm, a team from DPE will participate in a meeting with the Department of Development of the Inputs and Intermediate Material Industry (DINTE).

On Tuesday (1), at 10 am, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the 24th Meeting of the Control System of Agrarian Conflicts and Tensions of Incra (CTCA). At the same time, a team from ENCE will meet with representatives of Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).

On Wednesday (2), at 8:30 pm, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in an ordinary meeting of the Technical Committee for the 2022 Census. At 9 am, at the Social Communication Division (CCS) there will be an online press conference of the Monthly Survey of Industry: Physical Production - Brazil (PIM-PF). At 10 am, professor from ENCE will attend the Masterclass "Demography in Public Planning" within the project "Improving Municipal Public Planning," conducted in partnership with the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).

Also on Wednesday, at 10:30 am, members of DPE will participate in a meeting with the Union of Workers of the Cinema and Audiovisual Industry (Sindcine) of the states of São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Tocantins and Federal District. During the entire day, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will attend a Workshop on Integration of Altimetric Data for Climate Resilience in Rio Grande do Sul, up to Thursday.

On Thursday (3), at 7 am, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a meeting of the workgroup 3 on data scanner. At 9 am, professor from ENCE will attend the Masterclass "The role of the IBGE and the importance of the Population Census", within the "Strengthening Trail for Municipal Public Planning", a Project developed in a partnership between the IBGE and Sudene, at the headquarters of Sudene, in Recife.

Still on Thursday, at 9:30, a team from the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) will participate in a meeting of the Petrvs system. At 11 am, members of DPE will attend an event of the Task Team on Business Dynamics, Demography and Entrepreneurship (BDDE) of the UNSD. At the same time, a team from ENCE will participate in a meeting of the Technical Group of the Directive BPR (Good Regulatory Practices Committee – Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock).

On Friday (4), at 8 am, representatives of ENCE will participate in the Workshop "Ceres” of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).

State Superintendencies

On Monday (31), at 2:30 pm, representatives of the IBGE State Superintendency in Bahia (SES/BA) will participate in a managerial meeting of CORREIOS. At 7 pm, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Sergipe (SES/SE) will be in a meeting with the Committee of the Hydrographic Basin of Sergipe River.

On Tuesday (1), throughout the day, representatives of the IBGE State Superintendency in the Federal District (SES/DF) will be in a training program for the Integrated System of Annual Surveys of Enterprises (SIPEA).
