New plan will be regionally released in the Northeast, Central-West, Southeast and South. Supported by Sudam, the IBGE releases the 2025 Work Plan on January 27 in Belém

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release the 2025 Work Plan at the auditorium of the Superintendence for the Development of the Amazon (SUDAM) on January 27, from 10 am to 12 pm, in Belém (PA). Accreditation will begin at 9 am at the venue.

For the first time ever, the IBGE will release the Work Plan in the following regions: January 28 (Northeast - Recife), January 29(Central-West - Brasília), January 30 (Southeast - Vitória) and January 31 (South - Porto Alegre). Individual invitations for each event will be released on the IBGE portal and social media.

Among the priorities of the new Work Plan will be strategic actions around the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30), carried out by the IBGE in partnership with SUDAM and other local and federal partners. 

The event will count with the presence of the President of the IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, the Superintendent of SUDAM, Paulo Rocha, and authorities of the state of Pará and the Amazon region.

The event will be streamed through the Digital IBGE and social media from the IBGE and local partners. 

On-site participation requires confirmation through email up to January 22.
