The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (18) the IBGE Schedule for the week of November 18-22. This edition presents the schedule for the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since January, the IBGE weekly schedule has been released every Monday at 9 am. See the complete schedule for this week on the channel IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On Thursday (21), at 9:30 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting of the Coordination General of Census Operations (CGOC), about the Schedule of Census Operations.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (18), during the entire day, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the webinar "Lessons learned in the construction of statistical data on migration: challenges and opportunities." At 2 pm, representatives of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in a meeting of the Project Climate Change Indicators using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
On Wednesday (20), representatives of the Directorate of Surveys will spend the day in a meeting of the working group "International Data Science Accelerator Programme”.
On Thursday (21), at 8h, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participate in a technical meeting for revision of the manual for the FAO World Programme for the Census of Agriculture 2030, in Rome, Italy. At 10 am, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participate in a meeting about the edition and publication of the Milton Santos National Atlas of Brazil (ANB) and of the Atlas of Literary Representations of Brazilian Major Regions - Amazônia Volume. At 11 am, professors of ENCE participate in a seminar on Climate Change Indicators.
Also on Thursday, throughout the day, the coordinator general of the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI), José Daniel Castro, and the coordinators Jorge Gonzaga, of COMAR and Emerson Matosino, of the Coordination for Customer Service and Information (COATI) will travel to Recife to discuss the opening of Casa Brasil IBGE SUDENE.
On Friday (22), a team from DPE will participate in an online meeting for monitoring the Survey of Public Services of the Office of the Comptroller General (OGU/CGU).
On Saturday (23), at 8:30 am, professors of ENCE will participate in the 7th National Meeting of Leadership and Public Management.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (18), at 9h, a team from the State Superintendence of Sergipe (SES/SE) will participate in a meeting of the State Beekeeping Council.
On Wednesday (20), at 6 pm, a team from the State Superitendence of São Paulo (SES/SP) will participate in a fair called Feira Noturna de Porto Feliz.
On Friday (22), at 2 pm, representatives of the State Superintendence in Rio Grande do Sul (SES/RS) will give the course “Studies in Economics using IBGE databases," conceived in partnership with the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA). The activity is a class about: Approach of Social health Determiners - Consumer Expenditure Survey (POF) 2024 - 2025.
On Saturday (23), at 7 am, members of the State Superintendence in Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) participates in the Social Initiative Mutirão Brasil, where participants will receive material about IBGE Educa and other items produced by the IBGE.
