IBGE releases schedule for the week of August 5-9

Released today (5), the IBGE Schedule brings the schedule for the week between August 5 and 9. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments from several IBGE areas, from the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Presidency
On Monday (5), at 8:30am, representatives from the Presidency participate in a follow-up meeting of the SDG consulting. At 10am, the team takes part in a follow-up meeting of consulting in Institutional Relations. At 2pm, the team participates in a technical meeting of Indicator 15.3.1 (Degraded Lands).
On Thursday (8), at 9am, representatives from the Presidency take part in a videoconference of the Technical Committee of the Reference Center in Africa Project.
On Friday (9), at 9am, the Presidency travels to participate in the 1st Week of the Future (Sebrae): Roundtable "Transformations." At 10am, it takes part in a meeting of the Thematic Chamber of Indigenous Peoples and Traditional Communities and Peoples (CNODS - SDG National Commission).
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (5), at 10am, an ENCE team particpates in a meeting of the PDDE Project. At 2pm, an ENCE team takes part in the PDDE presentation at the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation (Fundaj). All day long, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in a discussion with IPEA on the estimates of expenditures with personnel in university and defense hospitals via SIAFI. Also during the entire day, a DPE team takes part in the event IMF Mission - Public Finances Statistics (STN).
Still on Monday, representatives from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) travel to New York to participate of the 14th UN-GGIM Session and side events in the headquarters of the United Nations. During the entire day, an ENCE team participates in a SINAPE event (National Symposium of Probability and Statistics).. At 10am, ENCE representatives take part in a meeting of the PDDE Project. At 2pm, an ENCE team participates in a PDDE presentation fundaj.
On Tuesday (6), at 10am, ENCE representatives take part in a alignment meeting of the ENAP Course: Food Security. On the same day and time, an ENCE team participates in a meeting on Food Security. All day long, a DPE team takes part in a alignment meeting of Environmental Economic Accounts with UN and MMA representatives. Also during the entire day, a DPE tam participates in a meeting of International Cooperation for Supporting the Calculation of Quarterly National Accounts in Honduras.
On Thursday (8), at 10am, a DGC team takes part in the event of Diisemination of the 2022 Population Census: Birth Registers (Manaus-AM). At 2pm, the DGC team participates in a Technical Workshop of Managers and Users (Manaus-AM).
Still on Thursday, a DPE team takes part in Reports: CNODS, RNV, SDG 18, IAEG (Revision 2025). DPE representatives are also present in the G20 side event - Policies for Creative Economy: G20+Ibero-America at FIRJAN, Rio de Janeiro. A DPE team participates, at 2pm, in a virtual meeting with SDG coordinators.
On Friday (9), at 10am, the Coordination of Social Communication (CCS) carries out the on-line press conference of the Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA). at 11am, a DGC team takes part in an EG-ISGI Co-Chairs & Secretariat meeting. At 2pm, a DPE team participates in a meeting with the Brazilian Gypsy Institute.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (5), at 10am, representatives from the State Superintendence of Alagoas (SES-AL) participate in a COP30 and 2030 Agenda course. During the entire week, SES-AL host a training on the National Address File for Statistical Purposes (CNEFE).
On Wednesday (7), at 8:30am, the State Superintendence of São Paulo (SES-SP) carries out the workshop USE of IBGE´s Web Tools for the Secretariat of Housing of Limeira.
On Friday (9), at 2:10pm, representatives from the State Superintendence of Rio Grande do Sul (SES-RS) participate in the course Studies in Economy using IBGE Databases at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA).
Also on Friday (9), at 2pm, SES-SP carries out an IBGE training on the data released by the 2022 Population Census at the São Paulo City Hall.
