The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (29) the schedule for the week of July 29 to August 2. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments from several IBGE areas, from the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Presidency
From Monday to Friday, the National Conference of Data Producers and Users - National Sovereignty in Geosciences, Statistics and Data: risks and opportunities for Brazil in the Digital Era - CONFEST/CONGEGE will be carried out. The event will be held at the Maracanã Campus of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and will last the entire day.
On Monday (29), at 8am, Presidency´s representatives participate in an internal comptroller event: Filling activities in E-AUD to establish the IBGE´s correctional maturity. At 9am, a Presidency team takes part in a videoconference of the Technical Committee of the African Centers of Reference Project.
On Tuesday (30), at 9am, a Presidency team participates in an internal managerial meeting of the Coordination General of Census Operations (CGOC).
On Wednesday (31), at 8am, representatives of the Presidency take part in an internal comptroller event: Analysis of Judgement of Pending Admissibility. At 9am, a follow-up meeting of the Operational Database (BDO) team will be carried out. At 10:30am, an internal comptroller event: Launching of decisions of admissibility judgements in the ePAD. At 1pm, an internal comptroller meeting on Admissibility and Accountability to establish the Prioritization of Demands.
On Thursday (1), at 9am, a Presidency team participates in an internal meeting of the Committee of Assessment of the Budget and Financial Execution (CAEOF). At the same time, a Presidency team takes part in a videoconference of the Technical Committee of the African Centers of Reference Project. At 3pm, a team of the Presidency takes part in the internal to produce the report of the Comptroller activities in the first semester of 2024.
On Friday (2), at 8am, an internal comptroller event: Checking information of correctional activities in the ePAD. And, at 2pm, Comptroller: Analyses of the new admissibility of the manifestations of FALA.BR.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (29), at 3pm, representatives of the Executive Directorate (DE) take part in an internal meeting with the areas of budget and finances of the State Superintendencies (SESs).
On Tuesday (30), all day long, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participate in an event of technical discussion of coordinators and rapporteurs (RIPSA). The event will be held in Brasília (DF). At 11am, a team of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in an on-line meeting of the 2024 United Nations Datathon Organizing Committee.
On Wednesday (31), at 10am, the Coordination of Social Communication (CCS) will carry out the press release of the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Continuous PNAD - Monthly Edition) with the reference period of June 2024. At 3pm, representative of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) take part in an internal meeting to study the conversion of altitudes from the ANADEM Digital Model of Terrain to the Brazilian Geodetic System.
On Thursday (1), at 9am, DGC representatives take part in an on-line meeting of the office of the Portuguese-Speaking Division of the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names to begin the organization of a presentation. At 3pm, an ENCE team participates in an on-line meeting of the Technical Group of the Hub for Big Data. All day long, DPE representatives participate in a semiannual on-line event to discuss the Technical Cooperation Agreement no. 02/2021/SENAJUS.
On Friday (2), at 10am, the CCS carries out the on-line press release of the Monthly Survey of Industry (PIM-Brazil) with the reference period of June 2024.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (29, at 8am, representatives of the State Superintendence of Espírito Santo (SES-ES) take part in a meeting of Agricultural Statistics (REAGRO), in São Mateus. At 9am, the State Superintendence of Alagoas (SES-AL) host an on-line meeting with the Public Prosecutor´s Office of Santana do Ipanema (AL) - Site Camoxinga. At 10am, representatives of SES-AL take part in a course on COP30 and 2030 Agenda.
On Thursday (1), at 2:30pm, representatives of the State Superintendence of Brasília (SES-DF) participate in an internal meeting to follow up the activities of Quality Control of Geospatial Data.
On Friday (2), the State Superintendence of São Paulo (SES-SP) hosts a workshop on the data released by the 2022 Population Census, in the São Paulo City Hall.
On Saturday (3), SES-AL representatives take part in the event "Connected Ibgeans," hosted in the SES-AL headquarters.
