Countdown to IBGE´s 90 years

The IBGE celebrated 88 years on May 29, 2024 in a ceremony full of tributes at the Treasury Palace in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On the same day, the IBGE Brazil House was opened and technical cooperation agreements and protocols of intentions were signed, linking the IBGE with important partners for strategic actions in a near future.

And, as a new symbol for the future of the IBGE, a timer was released to record the number of days for achieving its 90 years in 2026.

The timer can be accessed on this link. It will be displayed in a totem at the IBGE Brazil House and it is scheduled to be displayed on the IBGE portal as well.
