Today (4) at 9 AM, the IBGE released the IBGE Schedule. Including internal and external meetings, events and activities, it brings the IBGE schedule for the week between March 4 and 10. This edition includes releases and meetings, as well as appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Among the activities released, Marcio Pochmann, President of the IBGE, takes part in the 27th Meeting of the Sub-Committee of Regional Development and Integration on Tuesday, March 5, at the Ministry of Planning and Budget (DF).

On March 4 at 8 AM, the Superintendence of Amazonas (SES-AM) will carry out the training on Geoprocessing for State Officers of the SEPROR/IDAM. On the same day and time, the Superintendence of Piauí (SES-PI) will visit selected schools to introduce PeNSE, in Brejo do Piauí and Canto do Buriti - São João do Piauí Branch (PI). At 9 AM, the Superintendence of Goiás (SES-GO) will meet state offices on “Handling of Editions in Civil Registry.”

Still on March 4, the team of the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) participates in the meeting of the Confidentiality Committee at 10 AM. On the same day, at 2:30 PM, the Executive Directorate (DE) and representatives from other directorates take part in an internal meeting on the National Conferences of Geography and Cartography and Statistics (CONFEGE/CONFEST). At 6 PM, the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will open the classes of the Undergraduate Course. At 7:30 PM, the State Superintendence of Alagoas (SES-AL) will launch the documentary on the VI Scientific Expedition of the Low São Francisco, which counted with the participation of the IBGE.

On March 5 at 10 AM, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) take part in a video-conference with the National Institute of Recycling (INESFA), which will request the revision of existing CNAE codes related to recycling.

On March 6 at 8:30 AM, the Technical Visit of the First Class of Students of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) - “Getting to know the IBGE” will take place at the Superintendence of Mato Grosso (SES-MT). At 9 AM, the Coordination of Social Communication carries out the press conference of the Monthly Survey of Industry (PIM Brazil). On the same day at 11:30 AM, a team of the Coordination of Geography (DGC) participates in the Ordinary Meeting of the National Council of Social Assistance (CNA), to report on the accomplishment of the National Census of Homeless Population.

On Thursday, March 7, representatives from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) take part in the workshop of the Interministerial Committee on Climate Change (CIM), aimed at the development of the “Sectoral Plans of Adaptation to the Climate Change.” The event is scheduled for the entire day. CIM aims at establishing guidelines, articulating and coordinating the implementation of public policies and actions in Brazil related to the climate change. At 8:30 AM, the Superintendence of Maranhão (SES-MA) carries out the on-line training for officers of the Maranhão´s Environmental Sewage Company (CAEMA), working in the Socio-Environmental Coordination, on handling the IBGE website, based on the “Basic Sewage” theme.

On March 8 at 8 AM, a workshop on the use of environmental information, provided by the IBGE in its databases, will take place at the auditorium of the State Superintendence of Amapá (SES-AP) for students of the Bachelor Course in Geography of the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP).

Since January 29, the IBGE has released the IBGE Schedule to the public every Monday at 9 AM. It aims at improving the IBGE transparency, as well as at providing the society with the IBGE work in Brazil and abroad.
