The second day of activities of the 2nd pilot test of the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture, conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) included more places visited in the city of Irati (PR).

Maria Clara Celestina, IBGE technician in the State, talked about the excitement of the second day. “We were in the training phases, evolution of the questionnaire, and now, actually getting to know people, putting what we learned into practice. And we will also provide the required data to improve the Census and other surveys.”

The action is part of a strategic stage of preparation for the national survey, focusing on the evaluation of methodologies, data collection instruments and operational procedures in the field.
