IBGE releases weekly schedule with the activities of November 24 to 28

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (November 24th) the IBGE Schedule for the week of November 24th to 28th. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Offices, the State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (November 24th), members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will conduct in-person training for the first pilot test of the next Agricultural Census.
On Tuesday (25), at 10 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) team will present the Terrestrial Natural Domains and Regions of Brazil's Biomes: A proposal for natural regionalization.
On Wednesday (26), at 9 am, representatives from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in the IAPP/PPVE ENAP Workshop.
On Thursday (27), at 10 am, members of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will give a PPVE SUAS Event Lecture.
On Friday (28), at 10 am, the CCS team will release the Complete Life Tables for Brazil 2024.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (24), at 2 pm, members of the Alagoas State Superintendency (SES/AL) will take the IBGE Educa proposals to the Tibúrcio Valeriano da Silva Municipal School, in Arapiraca.
On Tuesday (25), representatives of the Ceará State Superintendency (SES/CE) will collect and process data from Civil Registry surveys.
On Wednesday (26), at 9:30 am, the Goiás State Superintendency (SES/GO) team will hold a management meeting to discuss various matters.
On Friday (28), at 9 am, representatives from the State Superintendence of Minas Gerais (SES/MG) will carry out the closing of the collection phase of the National Consumer Price Index System (SNIPC) and of the planning with the teams.
