IBGE makes weekly schedule available with activities for November 3-7

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (3) the IBGE Schedule for the week of November 3 to 7. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been released every Monday at 9 am and includes the activities for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On Monday (3), at 4 pm, members of the Presidency will participate in the organization of the National Conference of Data Producers and Users.
On Tuesday (4), at 3 pm, the Presidency team will participate in the Scientific Initiation Journey of the National School of Statistical Sciences – ENCE.
On Wednesday (5), at 2 pm, members of the Presidency will participate in the World Statistics Congress of the International Statistical Institute – ISI.
On Thursday (6), at 8 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the 16th Meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs).
On Friday (7), at 8 am, the Presidency team will participate in a meeting of the Task Force on Lessons Learned.
Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (3), at 10:30 am, the team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will hold a meeting with the Management of Favelas and Urban Poor Communities (GFCU) and the Division of Methodology and Database (COBAD).
On Tuesday (4), at 10 am, members of the Division of Online Services and Experience (CEON) will release the 2022 Population Census: Names in Brazil.
On Wednesday (5), at 1 pm, representatives of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in an event on Observatories in Sergipe.
On Thursday (6), at 10 am, members of the Executive Directorate (DE) will participate in a meeting with MGI regarding improvements to sougov.
On Friday (7), at 10 am, the DGC team will participate in a meeting of the Committee for the IBGE Alignment with the General Data Protection Law (CLGPD). State Superintendencies
On Monday (3), at 9:00 am, members of the State Superintendency of Maranhão (SES/MA) will receive a technical visit from Geography students from UFMA.
On Tuesday (4), during the whole day, representatives of the State Superintendency of Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will carry out data collection for the surveys at the agencies.
On Wednesday (5), at 8:00 am, the team from the State Superintendency of Piauí (SES/PI) will conduct CNEFE data collection in several municipalities.
On Thursday (6), at 10:00 am, members of the State Superintendency of Rio de Janeiro (SES/RJ) will carry out price survey supervision activities.
On Friday (7), during the whole day, representatives of the State Superintendency of São Paulo (SES/SP) will conduct in-person visits to companies participating in the Structural Economic Surveys.
