Researchers from Ence will participate in launch of magazine Ciência & Saúde Coletiva

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and magazine Ciência & Saúde Coletiva (Science and Public Health) are honored to invite to the launch of the special issue New technologies, tools and information to support management and primary attention to health in the Central South are of Brazil, which will take place on Friday (29), at 2:30 pm, at Casa Brasil IBGE, at Palácio da Fazenda (RJ), broadcast live on Digital IBGE.
The publication presents articles by researchers from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE), the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) and the Directorate of Surveys (DPE). Issued by the Brazilian Association of Public Health/Abrasco, Ciência & Saúde Coletiva was created in 1996 and represents a space for scientific discussions, debates, instances of research, sharing of new ideas and of controversies within the field.
Participation of researchers from the IBGE
This thematic edition (Vol.29 N.11), which focuses of "Innovations in management of primary attention to health in the Central South region", presents, among other articles, ten texts written by authors from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE. The articles show, for the first time, many innovations in methodological aspects of the 2022 Population Census and in other surveys conducted by the Institute. This is the result of an integrated work that brings together academic reserchers, including professors at Ence's graduate program andpublic statistical production, presenting to society unprecedented information for those who study related topic and users of databases.
In the event, 10 articles by students and researchers from ENCE, DGC and DPE will be presented, indicating several methodological innovations for the databases produced by the IBGE.
