In São Paulo, the IBGE releases the Municipal Agricultural Production data on Thursday (12/09)

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release the results of the Municipal Agricultural Production (PAM) on Thursday ,12, at 10am, in the auditorium on the 4th floor of the Department of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo (SAA-SP), located at Praça Ramos de Azevedo, 254, in the historic center of São Paulo. The event is being held in partnership with SAA-SP and will be streamed on Digital IBGE, the Institute's social networks and the Secretariat's YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@agriculturasp.
The event will be attended by the president of the IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, and the agronomist and national supervisor of PAM, Winicius Wagner, from the Agricultural Coordination of the IBGE’s Directorate of Surveys, and by Bianca Schmid, Agricultural Supervisor of the Superintendence of SP, who will be presenting the national and regional results of the survey.
The two undersecretaries for the Department of Agriculture and Supply, Orlando Melo de Castro and Diogenes Kassaoka, respectively, are also taking part. The coordinator of the São Paulo Agency for Agribusiness Technology (APTA), Carlos Nabil Ghobril, and the director of the Institute of Agricultural Economics (IEA-Apta), Felipe Camargo, will also attent the event.
The Municipal Agricultural Production survey annually investigates the main products from temporary and permanent crops in the country, which are characterized not only by their major economic importance on the export agenda, but also by their social relevance as part of the Brazilian basic food basket.
