IBGE releases schedule for April 8-14

The IBGE Schedule for the week of April 8-14 is already available. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since January, the IBGE has released the IBGE Schedule to the public every Monday at 9 AM. The complete schedule is available on the IBGE Schedule channel.
IBGE´s Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (8), at 9 AM, a team of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in an online meeting with the Committee of the Program of the 8th Conference on Big Data. At the same day, members of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will take part in the II Strategic Week of the Coordination of Environment. The event will last until Friday.
On Tuesday (9), at 2 PM, ENCE members participate in the meeting on the National Conference of Statistics (CONFEST). At 4 PM, a team of the Executive Directorate (DE) takes part in an online meeting on the release of the “Creating Synergies between the 2030 Agenda and the G20 - Inequalities Module” publication.
At the same day and time, a team of the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination and Coordination of Social Communication (CDDI CCS) will participate in the launching of the 2030 Agenda publication and of the School Geographic Atlas. The event will take place at the G20 House (176 Vieira Souto Avenue - Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim, Ipanema - RJ).
On Wednesday (10), at 9 AM, the CCS will carry out the online press conference of the National Consumer Price Index (IPCA/INPC), with the reference period of March 2024. At noon, a team of the DGC will take part in the event “Accelerating institutional skills of NSOs through the use of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.”
On Thursday (11), at 9 AM, the CCS will carry out the online press conference of the Monthly Survey of Trade (PMC), with the reference period of February 2024. On Friday, at 9 AM, the online press conference of the Monthly Survey of Services (PMS) will be held, with the reference period of February 2024.
Still on Friday, at 2 PM, a DGC team will meet the Pereira Passos Institute to share the experience of routing the Census of Homeless. At 6 PM, an online meeting between the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN) and the presidencies of the UNGEGN´s regional linguistic divisions will be held.
On Sunday (14), the CDDI CCS´s General Coordinator, José Daniel Castro da Silva, and the Coordinator of Marketing, Jorge Gonzaga da Silva, will travel to take part in the Federative Caravan event in Pernambuco (PE). The event will last until Wednesday (17).
State Superintendencies
On Monday (8), at 7 PM, the State Superintendence of Paraíba (SES PB) will present the result of the 2022 Census at the Municipal Chamber in Sumé.
On Wednesday (10), at 10 AM, a team of the Santa Cruz do Sul branch of the State Superintendence of Rio Grande do Sul (SES RS) will participate in a online seminar on Google Maps.
On Friday (12), at 10 AM, The State Superintendence of Sergipe will meet the Woman Observatory to present statistical information.
Still on Friday, at 2 PM, a team of the State Superintendence of São Paulo (SES SP) takes part in the Municipal Forum of Education to conduct the presentation IBGE: Who we are, what we do, our surveys and data. The event will take place at the Municipal Technology Center of Education, Culture and Sports (CMTCE).
