Released today (18), the IBGE Schedule brings the IBGE activities from March 18th to 24th. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the different areas of the Institute, covering the Presidency, the IBGE Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Launched on January 29th, the IBGE Schedule is published every Monday, at 9 am, and includes the calendar for the next seven days, starting from the day of publication. Check out the Institute's complete activities this week on the IBGE Schedule information channel.

Presidency

This week, on Monday, there will be a trip to Brasília and the Presidency will participate, at 9 am, in the 28th Meeting of the Regional Integration and Development Subcommittee and, at 2 pm, in the 2nd Ordinary Meeting of the National Commission for the SDGs (CNODS). On Tuesday, at 10 am, the 1st Meeting of the Technical Group of the Integrity Forum (Foint) of the Ministry of Planning and Budget, will take place, with the participation of the IBGE and IPEA.

On Wednesday (20), President Marcio Pochmann will join, at 10 am, the Launch Event of the 3rd edition of the Semiannual Survey of Innovation - SEMIANNUAL PINTEC, in the auditorium of the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI), in Brasília. At 7 pm, Marcio Pochmann takes part in another edition of the External Dialogues meeting, at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis (SC).

On the next day (03/21, Thursday), the president of the IBGE will be present at the launch of the 2022 Census: Results Aggregated by Preliminary Enumeration Areas - Population and Housing Units and Mesh of Preliminary Enumeration Areas, in the Auditorium of the Association of Municipalities of Greater Florianópolis (GRANFPOLIS).

On March 21st, Thursday, at 9 am, the Videoconference of the Technical Committee of the Reference Centers Project in Africa will also take place. And, at 2 pm, the Presidency participates in the Meeting of the Voluntary National Report Writing Group (RNV).

Other Directorates

On March 18, Monday, the Executive Board (DE) team participates in a meeting, at 2 pm, with members of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The team of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in the 8th Joint OECD/UNECE Seminar on the Implementation of SEEA, at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva (Switzerland). The team of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) travels to Caiapônia (GO), for the botanical collection expedition. And, at 2:30 pm, the Planning Meeting of the IV Brazilian Symposium on Spatial Data Infrastructure (SBIDE IV) takes place.

Also on Monday, at 9 am, the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) houses the Training Course for the National Survey of School Health 2024, in the Teixeira de Freitas Auditorium and adjacent room. On the same day and time, the Meeting on the Partnership with the Federal Secretariat of Planning takes place at the IBGE HEADQUARTERS.

On Tuesday (19), at 2pm, the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) and other units will participate in the Presentation of the Web Platform of the Data Repository on the Historical Toponymy of Minas Gerais and at 5:30 pm there is a Meeting on CONFEST/CONFEGE.

On Wednesday (20), the team of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates, at 9 am, in a technical meeting in Brasília with the National Council for Industrial Development, to discuss innovation in the Brazilian industry. At the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC), there will be a Meeting with “Space Imaging Brasil” (SIB) at 10 am, and at 2 pm there will be a Call for the 10th Ordinary Session of the Marine Spatial Planning Executive Committee and there will also be a Presentation of the Environmental Database and Information at the Technical Workshop with Managers and Users, an event related to the 8th Release of Census Results in Florianópolis.

And, on Friday (22), the team of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participates in a meeting with the National Center for Monitoring and Early Warning of Natural Disasters (CEMADEN), to develop a methodology for Rapid Population Count in Risk Areas.

Superintendencies

On March 18th, in Paraíba, at 9 am, the 1st Meeting, in 2024, of IBGE Human Resources Managers will take place with GEAP to discuss the new covenant with the Federal Government; at 2 pm, a meeting will take place with the Superintendence of the Ministry of Treasury in Paraíba, to return the Mobile Collection Devices used in the 2022 Census.
