In São Paulo, President Pochmann visits an IBGE Agency for the first time

Last Friday, December 1st, Márcio Pochmann, president of IBGE, and Denis Maracci, advisor to the presidency, were at Agência Campinas, located in the northwest region of the state of São Paulo. Ricardo Veríssimo, regional coordinator, Cynthya Nóbrega, head of agency, as well as civil servants who work in the region were present. This was Mr. Pochmann's first visit to an IBGE state agency.
Arriving at the location, around 11 am, the president and his advisor explored the agency's facilities. Afterwards, Mr. Pochmann spoke with the servants about various topics, such as the unified competition examination and the search for new partnerships to host IBGE agencies. In additon, the servants explained what the work routine is like at an agency.
As the conversation went on, Pochmann also highlighted the relevance of the surveys and the importance of IBGE servants being active and curious, in order to gain in-depth knowledge of the surveys carried out by the IBGE.
