In 2020, the nominal household income per capita of the Central-West was R$ 1,554, above the national average (R$ 1,380), with the Coefficient of Regional Imbalance (CDR) standing at 1. The Northeast had R$ 916 of income and 0.66 of CDR. The North, in turn, had R$ 925 of income and 0,67 of CDR.

The coefficients are calculated based on the values of the regional income in comparison with the national average. For the calculation of the CDR, income from work and from other sources are considered. The values were obtained from the actual gross earnings from work and from other sources, in the month of reference of the survey, accruing information from the fifth interviews of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters of the Continuous PNAD of 2020, for the result of this year of reference.

According to Decree 9.291/2018, the coefficients will be applied in the value of the financial charges levied on the financing of credit operations with funds from the Northeast Financing Fund (FNE), the North Financing Fund (FNO) and the Central-West Financing Fund (FCO).
