IBGE seminar highlights innovating, transforming teaching practices

IBGE Teaches carries out the 4th IBGE Open Doors to the School Seminar next October 30. This edition will approach how much innovating attitudes, especially from teachers, have contributed to transform the daily life and perspective of the students. The event, which will certify the participation of those enrolled, will be held from 2 to 5 PM in the auditorium of the IBGE´s Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination - CDDI at 706, General Canabarro Street, Maracanã. Enrollments can be made on the official website of the event for free.

The IBGE Open Doors to the School Seminar is an event organized by IBGE Teaches, an IBGE portal aimed at the education area (students, teachers and professionals). In this edition, professionals from different educational areas, who stood out by combining innovation and incentive practices in the school environment, will expose their experiences and answer the questions raised by the audience.

The invited speakers are: Tatiana Miranda (Teacher of IBGE Teaches), Cláudia Vargas (Shell Prize of Scientific Education), José Marcos Couto (Prize Educator Grade 10), Rodrigo Fontes (“PEAMA Taking Care of Waters” Project), Márcia Costa (Member of LEDEN research group - Language and Education: Teaching and Science/UERJ), Juliana de Oliveira (author of “Gamificação nas Aulas de Geografia” (Gamification in Geography Classes) chapter of the “Professores Inovadores” (Innovating Teachers) book), Luciana Cortes (Master in Education in the Educational Public Policies area) and Thiago Fortunato (Post-graduation in Mathematics Teaching).
