IBGE and World Bank carry out workshop on administrative records in Brasília

The event will be held on August 27 and 28 in the Serzedello Corrêa Institute, and will be open to the press

On August 27 and 28, the IBGE, in partnership with the World Bank, will carry out the workshop “The future of statistics: debating the use of administrative records in Brazil”. The agenda covers the demands and challenges of using administrative records for the production of statistics. The event will be attended by the NSIs of Portugal, USA, Australia and Canada, which will exchange experiences on the modernization of the statistical systems of their countries.

Besides the IBGE and the World Bank, the opening session will have the participation of a representative of the Ministry of Economy. The following institutions will be present at the workshop: National Center for Natural Disaster Monitoring and Alerts (Cemaden), National School of Public Administration (Enap), Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), Parana Institute of Economic and Social  Development (Ipardes), Brazilian Geological Services/CPRM, UFMG, UFRJ, Central Bank, Ministry of Citizenship, Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC), Ministry of Health, Information and Coordination Center of Ponto BR (NIC.br), National Treasury, National Water Agency (ANA) and National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).

The Serzedello Corrêa Institute is located in the Escola Superior do Tribunal de Contas da União (Higher School of the Federal Court of Accounts), in the Setor de Clubes Esportivos Sul (Southern Sporting Club Sector), Trecho 3 - Lote 3, Brasília/DF.
