The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (June 8) released the IBGE Schedule for the week of June 8 to 12. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, Directorates, Advisory Offices, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE). 

Since 2024, the IBGE Agenda has been published every Monday at 9 am, with the calendar for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the complete activities on the IBGE Schedule.

Presidency

On Tuesday (9), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in the Seminar IBGE's International Engagement.

On Thursday (11), at 10 am, representatives of the Presidency participate in the Webinar Ethics in Official Statistics: Foundations and Practices to Foster Public Trust.

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (8), a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will start trips for technical supervision of agricultural surveys in Goiás, scheduled to last all the entire week.

On Tuesday (9), all day long, members of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will be conducting the event ENCE with Open Doors.

On Wednesday (10) at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS), will release the Monthly Survey of Industry: Regional Physical Production. And, at 10 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will  release the Annual Survey of Construction Industry 2024.

On Thursday (11), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the Systematic Survey of Agricultural Production and the Monthly Survey of Services.

On Friday (12), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the National Consumer price Index and the National System of Costs Survey and Indexes of Construction.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (8), at 9 am, members of the IBGE State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL) will organize a workshop of IBGE Educa in Joaquim Gomes.

On Tuesday (9), all day long, representatives of the  State Superintendency in Espírito Santo (SES/ES) will collect data through its branches.

On Wednesday (10), all day long, a team from the State Superintendency in Minas Gerais (SES/MG) will collect data through its branches.

On Thursday (11), at 9:30 am, members of the State Superintendency in Goiás (SES/GO) will launch the First Pilot Test for th National Census of the Population Experiencing Homelessness.

On Friday (12), all day long, representatives of the State Superintendency in Pará (SES/PA) will collect data through its branches.
