The National Index of Civil Construction (SINAPI), published today by the IBGE, increased by 0.27% in January 2018, a result higher than the 0.18% of December last year. In comparison with January 2017, however, the change was lower, influenced by the increase of 0.04% in the value of labor force, which was the lowest in the last 11 months.

"Compared with January 2017, which da a 0.64% increase, the difference becomed more evident, since, in that month, three collective labor agreements were signed, while there was only one in January 2018," explains the manager of research, Augusto Oliveira.
