Registration for INFOPLAN - 3rd National Conference on Statistics, Geography and Environment - will be open until November 31st. The event will be held from December 5 to 9, at SulAmerica Convention Center, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

INFOPLAN is a comprehensive forum for debate, during which IBGE will open doors to other producers and users of official information and to specialists from Brazil and abroad, in order to decide on the future steps of statistical, geoscientific and environmental production for the coming ten years, thus reinforcing their relevance and usefulness for Brazilians. The Conference central theme will be “Coordination for Planning”.

The meeting will bring together technicians and researchers from IBGE, from other governmental institutions, from research institutes, civil society organizations, scientific associations, foreign guests, technicians and researchers interested in the production, dissemination and use of information needed to the understanding of the Brazilian reality and the exercise of citizenship.
