Having increased 4.17%, electricity once again led the ranking of main individual contributions, holding 0.16 p.p. The rise was very influenced by the metropolitan areas of Curitiba, where they increased 11.40%, reflecting part of the adjustment of 14.39% in the fares, in force since June 24, and São Paulo, whose increase of 11.11% was due to the adjustment of 17.00% applied to the fares of one of the supply companies since July 4. In other areas like Campo Grande (2.72%), Belo Horizonte (2.04%) and Brasília (2.03%) fares also increased, but as a result of taxes (PIS/COFINS).

On the other hand, taxes made fares cheaper in other areas between June and July. In Vitória the drop reached 8.67%, followed by Salvador (-4,67%).

Water and sewage bills also increased and stood, on average, 2.44% more expensive. The rise hit seven out of the 13 areas surveyed, as shown in the following table, highlighted by Goiânia (19.56%).
